Solutions - NIP Pharms
NIP Pharms is a sub-division of NIP, focussed on providing web-based solutions
to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. These solutions address the twin
challenges of facilitating compliance with internal/regulatory standards and
managing internal resources and workflow:
- MedInfoSys® - logs, manages and facilitates the sharing and analysis
of all medical information enquiries and responses. Now also available on a Software
as a Service basis (SaaS):
- Hosted on NIP's servers (or a secure third party's server)
- Minimum amount of administrative bother, project cost and financial risk of failure
- Reduces market entry cost and spreads payments over time
- Reduces IT involvement and removes internal support and maintenance worries
- 'Get out' or 'buy' options available at any time
- MA Centre™ - tracks and supports the management of complex Marketing Authorisations
processes

Our
first Pharms applications were developed in 1994 using Lotus Notes technology;
in more recent years, these have been successfully re-implemented and expanded-upon using newer,
web-based tools.
At the same time, Pharms is also an area which has helped develop and refine our approach to
working with customers - by partnering and listening to customers over the years,
we have learned a lot about how to elicit requirements, analyse the market and
build long-standing relationships based on mutual trust and respect. For this
reason, as much as the quality of the software, we have maintained many of the
same customers over many years, including through technology upgrades.
Customers over the years, ranging from the small to the multi-national, include Astellas,
AstraZeneca, Bayer, Eisai, GE Healthcare, GlaxoSmithKline, Janssen-Cilag, Novartis, Norgine, Pfizer,
Roche, Sanofi Pasteur MSD and Takeda.
