Approach - Methodologies

Our solutions foster effective and efficient collaboration based on the availability of key information and rich relationships. The methodologies we use at every stage of our interactions with clients - and internally - are similarly focussed on these goals. Whether the focus is on internal efficiency, or on quickly establishing what the requirements are for a particular domain or customer, we deploy novel and innovative models for improving the process.

These models and methods come from a wide variety of sources and experiences and, just as with our development, significant time has been invested in assessing and exploring new ways of approaching business challenges of communication and relationship. Our solutions and our methodologies are thus closely and reciprocally linked.

You can learn more about where we obtained some of these ideas and how they have been expressed in our solutions and ways of doing business:

  • The Value Net/Transaction Cost analysis
The Value Net is a methodology developed by Cinzia Parolini, an Italian academic, for mapping and analysing the workings of a domain or business problem; we have complemented it with Ronald Coase's work in the field of analysing inefficiencies in business structures
  • The Chasm model
A well-known body of material produced by Geoff Moore and the Chasm Group, which is extremely powerful in describing what affects the adoption of a new solution by its intended user-base
  • Agile Development
A set of approaches to flexible and rapid software development
  • Buying Facilitation
Ideas developed and expressed by Sharon Drew Morgen for quickly identifying the key parameters in a buying-"selling" relationship and whether it will be successful
